June 21-September 07-Main Street Performances-Breckenridge
Get into the Blue! Breckenridge's Blue River Plaza hosts free performances every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer, including music, theatre, art, culture, sports, historical displays and kids' activities.

 

June 24-August 12-Kids Discovery Day-Keystone

11 a.m. - 1 p.m Tuesdays - Kids of all ages are welcome to our fun-filled bonanza of imagination! Each Tuesday offers wacky entertainment, exciting crafts, and a free pizza lunch! Don't miss a day of discovery at the Pavilion at Keystone.

August 8- 9-Dillon BBQ at the Summit -Dillon

Join the festivities as BBQ masters from across the U.S. vie for top honors in this Kansas City BBQ event!

 

August 15-17-Genuine Jazz & Wine Festival-Breckenridge
Renowned jazz artists from across the nation meet in Breckenridge
for a music filled weekend. This year the festival adds a wine element

August 2-3-12th Annual Beer and Bluegrass Festival-Keystone

Keystone brings the wonders of Appalachia to the Rockies. Down-home cooking, frothy flavors and mountain-music are just a piece of the pie. In a whirlwind of hillbilly luxuries, folks gather while over 25 of Colorado's finest microbreweries showcase their unique blends of hops and barley. Live music rocks out at our 2 stages. Energy Alley provides entertainment for the kids with inflatables and wacky activities. Cost: Free Music & Admission. Beer tasting price is $30 for a glass and $4 beers in the beer garden.
Parking: Free parking will be available at the River Run Lots, located just off Gondola Road.  Doggies and other critters are prohibited at River Run Festivals.

 

August 8 – 10 - Guitar Town-Copper Mountain

Two days of the world’s best guitarists come together at Copper Mountain for the 4th annual Guitar Town festival.  Guitar sales and expos, workshops and jam sessions make this the perfect weekend for guitar and music enthusiasts. Past performers include Dickey Betts, Buddy Guy, Joe Satriani, Tim Reynolds, Free Live Music By: Jimmie Vaughan, Jim Weider's ProJECT PERCoLAToR, David Bromberg, John Jorgenson, Monte Montgomery, and The Kentucky Headhunters. Music's greatest guitar legends convene at Copper Mountain for a weekend of top-notch entertainment. Guests will enjoy two days of FREE live performances by some of the world’s best guitarists, extraordinary celebrity guitar auctions, instrument sales and expos and guitar workshops taught by the masters themselves.

 

August 23 - Music on Main-Frisco

Frisco is proud to announce Blue Oyster Cult as the headliner for Music on Main this August 23, 2008.  Music on Main is a free concert for all ages.  There is no seating but don’t worry you wont need a camp chair as we will be dancing all night.  The event starts at 5:00pm. Food and Beverages will be available.  Sorry No Pets or Outside Alcohol. 

 

August 29-31Copper Country-Copper Mountain

A Labor Day festival tradition a Copper Mountain, Copper Country celebrates the best of the American spirit.  Incredible live music, the country’s top fine artists and even nationally ranked rodeo competitors come together to make this THE Labor Day event for the entire family.  Copper Mountain is the place to be for Labor Day Weekend. The best in Classic Rock and Country come together to form an incredible music lineup not to be missed. Fine artists, outdoor vendors and a full scale rodeo offer something for everyone. Copper Country is the celebration of the American Spirit. Free Events: Fine Art Pavillion, Vendor Village, and  Rodeo.  Copper Corral Kids Rodeo Activities: Petting Zoo, Mutton Bustin, Chicken Scramble, Face Painting, Pony Rides, & Rodeo Western Booth.  Copper Country Rodeo Championships Schedule:  Free- Located in the Beeler Lot, Saturday and Sunday 1pm-3pm-Bareback Competition, Clown Act, Saddle Bronc Competition, Roping Act, Bull Riding Competition-Award Ceremony, Sunday, Sept. 2.  Don’t miss the Boot Scoot Street Parties and Copper Country Movies.


September 12
- Oktoberfest-Breckenridge
Grab your stein, throw on your lederhosen, and get ready for Breckenridge's 14th Annual Oktoberfest! The event returns to Main Street to commemorate a time-honored tradition of German heritage. The festival has become a Breckenridge mainstay and offers Oompah music, Bavarian foods and kids' activities. Join Breckenridge and Paulaner Bier for the best Oktoberfest in the mountains.Breckenridge's Oktoberfest is a no pet event.
