Wonderful people to help me at Wildernest check in and check out -- Linda and company.
Enjoyed the stay but didn't care for the long drive up the mountain to get to the condo.

My husband and I stayed here. Plenty of space for 2. It was quaint. Some of the unit is a little dated (ie the bathroom), but it was nice for a weekend stay and going to Breck during the day. The views were fantastic and the wood burning fireplace (wood provided) was fun. It's about 13 minutes from the main office, but you don't notice it. The furniture doesn't match, but works fine. The kitchen was simple and effective. Don't count on watching TV (there is one there, but it is the smallest flat screen I've ever seen), bring a book or laptop.

The location was beautiful although not as close the the skiing as we would have liked to have had. Overall housekeeping was overall good there were two cobwebs in the corner of the ceiling in the bedroom. I have never stayed anywhere in the last twenty years that didn't have a hairdryer and shampoo and conditioner provided to the guest. I did have shampoo with me--but found it very difficult to be without a hairdryer. Room was very dry and we boiled water on the stove to decrease some of the static electricity. Great opportunities for pictures outside looking towards the mountains.

Clean unit and very nice for our vacation. Thank you for a very fun time.

I manage rental property, so I'm not looking for perfection, but I'd look elsewhere for a condo. Overpowering smell of 'odor eliminator' when you walk through the door. Ancient furnishings in need of a refresh. The American Standard toilet & seat are antiques - this would be my first replacement. Carpet in the bathroom is gross - and probably the reason for the massive dose of 'odor eliminator'. Would not recommend this place.

GREAT PLACE TO HIKE AND SHOP

We loved staying with you guys. The only things were the tiny tv, TINY, and the chair was so worn out that you bottom hit metal. IMO all the furniture should be of good quality and not worn to a point of being uncomfortable.
