We got in very early morning and left in the middle of the night but check in and check out were phenomenally easy! Welcomed by a fox in the walkway at 3am and woke up to beautiful Buffalo Mtn.

This is a tiny condo that was perfect for me and my husband. Though it might be a stretch having the max of 4 people staying here.

Except for a couple small things, our stay here was very enjoyable and comfortable.

I suppose because it's high in the mountains, they have no reason for a/c most of the year, but it was a little warm the first night and I wasn't comfortable leaving a window open for the breeze.

There's absolutely no counter space in the bathroom, so we were in and out a lot using the high-top table for our bathroom necessities.

But overall, I could definitely see staying here or in another Wildernest condo should we take a future vacation in this area of the mountains of Colorado. The view is amazing; it's very close to some hiking trails. The kitchen, though extremely tiny, was a huge plus for us. The check in/check out process went very smoothly. Definitely recommend to others.

Loved the condo - perfect size for 4 people. We had a couple of very minor things that we noted that, to our surprise the owners fixed while we were there - what fantastic service!! Highly recommend.

The kitchen and living room were immaculate but the bathroom needed a little work (loose fixtures and very low water pressure in the shower). I'd still recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away for the weekend as it's walking distance from really great hiking trails with very nice neighbors.

Clean and organized upon arrival. I would have preferred a fireplace over a wood burning stove. Perfect for one person or 2 at most. Quiet location. As with most older units this one could use some upgrades. New flooring would be the #1 priority.

This unit was a bit disappointing. The overall quality was good, beds were comfortable, heat worked, location was convenient. But the unit could use some attention. The front door had snow coming through it during the night (between the door jamb) and the light shines right through the blinds. There was no roasting pan for the oven. The ice trays in the freezer were mini. I'd recommend having an area by the door that isn't carpet for snowy shoes, etc.

Condo facilities were great. The place we stayed in was nice but a little dated. There was no TV in the bedroom, which was problematic when have more than 1 person staying there. Mattresses were very lumpy. For the money, worth it. If planning to spend lot of time in condo, then this unit not for you. Pool and hot tub were VERY nice. Location perfect for all activities in Summit County. Would stay there again.

Great location, really high up near the base of the mountain. It had all the amenities needed. It was realtively small and would sleep 2 comfortably, 4 if you all really like each other. The DVD/VCR didn't work. The wood-burning stove was clean, but there was a knob broken on it so we didn't know if it would work or not so we didn't try. They had wood inside nicely dried out with matches and a firestarting kit (which is a nice touch). The location is great with shopping at the base bottom of the hill with a Target close by (for grocieries/sundries) and outlet shops.

It is conveniently located a short drive from all the major ski areas. This is my second time renting from Wildernest which has been a great experience. Also, they were even able to give me a complimentary lift ticket to Copper Mountain. I wouldn't hesitate to rent from Wildernest.

It was great. The only suggestion we have is put a screen on the window so we feel more comfortable opening it. Moths were attracted to the light and were able to fly right in. Other wise great!!!

My husband and I stayed here. Plenty of space for 2. It was quaint. Some of the unit is a little dated (ie the bathroom), but it was nice for a weekend stay and going to Breck during the day. The views were fantastic and the wood burning fireplace (wood provided) was fun. It's about 13 minutes from the main office, but you don't notice it. The furniture doesn't match, but works fine. The kitchen was simple and effective. Don't count on watching TV (there is one there, but it is the smallest flat screen I've ever seen), bring a book or laptop.

I manage rental property, so I'm not looking for perfection, but I'd look elsewhere for a condo. Overpowering smell of 'odor eliminator' when you walk through the door. Ancient furnishings in need of a refresh. The American Standard toilet & seat are antiques - this would be my first replacement. Carpet in the bathroom is gross - and probably the reason for the massive dose of 'odor eliminator'. Would not recommend this place.

The location was beautiful although not as close the the skiing as we would have liked to have had. Overall housekeeping was overall good there were two cobwebs in the corner of the ceiling in the bedroom. I have never stayed anywhere in the last twenty years that didn't have a hairdryer and shampoo and conditioner provided to the guest. I did have shampoo with me--but found it very difficult to be without a hairdryer. Room was very dry and we boiled water on the stove to decrease some of the static electricity. Great opportunities for pictures outside looking towards the mountains.

We loved staying with you guys. The only things were the tiny tv, TINY, and the chair was so worn out that you bottom hit metal. IMO all the furniture should be of good quality and not worn to a point of being uncomfortable.
