Every Colorado Spring in Summit County (and Clear Creek County for Loveland Ski Area) provides the opportunity to hold on to Winter sports a bit longer while priming for the Summer sports season.  Of course, there are years when we all get to hold on a bit longer and 2019 is one of those years.  Thankfully, 122 inches of snow fell on Breckenrdge Ski Resort in March (insert a blurb here for all of our river-runners who are chomping at the bit) to coincide with the company deciding that the resort would remain open until Memorial Day.  Wow-what a great coincidence, eh!!  As per usual, Arapahoe Basin (Party at the Beach!!) will be open until June and Loveland until early May.  Choices, choices...

Carving on a sunny Spring day takes away the need to bundle up and cover all of the skin to protect it from the cold.  A tan, or at least a goggle-tan is guaranteed while enjoying the warm conditions that truly start a party.  One tip-and try not to learn the hard way-bring & use your sunscreen!!

Happy Spring Sliding!!
